VBA and .FormulaArray Return (2003 SP2)

My objective is to test if a formula is an array formula. .FormulaArray VBA Help states "If the specified range doesn't contain an array formula, this property returns Null". But in my testing .FormulaArray returns the formula whether or not it is an array formula (that is, same return as .Formula). (.HasFormula returns True whether formula is a standard or array formula, so it's no use.)

Am I missing something, or misunderstanding the VBA Help, or is the VBA Help wrong?

Note that FormulaArray has a bug: you cannot push array formulas into a cell which have more than 255 characters.
