    amortization table (2007)

I need to determine the length left on a loan and then create an amortization schedule from that. Which function or how would I do this. I know beginnging amount, interest rate, and payment amount. The template I have for amort schedule is from Microsoft and it will not allow me to changet the term to partials of a whole number. I have to enter 1 to 30. The actual length should be somewhere 10.86 years.

    TIA
    Bret

    Re: amortization table (2007)

    Good morning

Does this spreadsheet from Vertex 42 (their email address is on the top of the form should you wish to thank them if it is useful) do what you want, I know you can enter in partial years

    Cheers

Asking the questions everbody wants the answers too but feels too stupid to ask themselves :-)
