    Progress Indicator (2000 SR-1)

I need a method to monitor progress of long running module(s). I can't use the status bar because Access over-writes it with system messages like the "Run Query" message. Is there a way to use a dialog box or balloon to display multiple messages embedded in the code.

Possibly a balloon, but it's easier to just create a custom form that you launch at the start of the long procedure and then write to during the process. You'll have to remember to repaint the form each time to make sure the new message shows up, and you won't be able to turn off the screen echo (Me.Painting should work though), but that's the way I usually do it.
