    Email Command (2003 2000)

I have code that creates a snapshot report and then attaches it to an Email. Is there any way to direct the Email to a certain account, or must it always go to whatever is the system's default email program?

DoCmd.SendObject will always use the system's default e-mail program (as defined in the Programs tab of Tools | Internet Options in Internet Explorer).

If you want to send through Outlook even though another e-mail program such as Outlook Express is default, you could use Automation to control Outlook from Access. But there is no way to make Access use Gmail, as far as I know.

I thought so. In my case the client uses webmail (GMail) and doesn't use his ISP's emal account. In fact, he never even set it up. So I figure we can set up the account in Outlook Express and it will simply send the emails from there.
