    Office 2003 SP3 ?? (Vista Home Premium)

Why does my Microsoft Update list show an important update for Office 2003 SP3 (9/18/07) when I have only Office 2007 installed?

Check you control panel add/remove programs dialog. I am guessing that you will find Office 2003 Web Components listed.

I have a new system with only 2007 installed but like many other people have found it appears that 2007 installation can also add the 2003 web components. The actual download I got for the 2003 sp3 update was quite small.

    Tony,
Thanks! You are right, I do have Office 2003 Web Components.

My Office 2003 SP3 update is 6.1 M. Do you consider that small?

Yep. The complete SP-3 is 120MB for English.
