    Printing Question (Excel 2003)

Sometimes when I print out a page, I get no ledger lines, and the print is quite small. Other times (for other files), the print is large and the Léger lines do appear. Where is the control for this? I looked at the dialogue boxes when I click on Printer in the File menu, and couldn't find anything there.

Also, on one of the files, the "Print preview" shows some additional words below the information that appears on the screen. The vertical scroll bar reveals nothing either. Any thoughts?

Under File->Page setup you can opt to print gridlines or not (on the sheet tab) The other text is probably a header or footer, also set in Page Setup.

you could also look at the printer scaleable settings - sometimes the printer scales the page which reduces the print size. It should be available in Properties for the printer
