Windows log on (Windows XP Professional)

I have a new computer with only one user (me). I do not use a password. After startup I am presented with the Welcome Screen and my user name saying click to log on. In the past I have been able to configure my computer to log on automatically. I have forgotten how to do this.

Method 1: Click Start, Run and type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 did the trick. Thanks.

I thought I had it fixed but discovered only for a start up or restart. Recovering from hibernation still presents the log on window.

This may have already been taken care of by what you've already done, but have you checked whether the Control Panel -> Power Options -> Advanced setting has a tick like in the graphic?
