Suppressing gridlines printing Excel sheet (2007)

How do I suppress the printing of gridlines when printing an Excel sheet that is embedded on a Word 2007 page? I want the gridlines to display when I'm editing the sheet, but not print. In Excel itself, this is the default behaviour. However, when I print the sheet within Word the gridlines print also. (My recollection is that Word2000 handled this properly).

    Hi BruceBrad,

You'll need to toggle the gridline display - the embedded object doesn't give you access to turning off the gridlines at print time. This hasn't changed since Word 97, and probably earlier.
