Text wrapping in a text box (2007)

Let me see if I can explain my problem: in a report for labels, there is a particular way that the text box fields need to be laid out. There are two separate text boxes aligned one directly above the other. VERY occasionally, the length of the text box in the upper of the two text boxes is too long for the space on the label, and needs to spill over on to a second row, which then would need to bump the lower text box down even lower on the label.
The first text box is concantenated data, thus: "=IIf(IsNull([Author Last Name]),"",[Author Last Name] & ", " & [Author First Name] & " " & [Author Middle])". The lower text box is bound to a field "Title".
This problem occurs only about 1% of the time and we do not want white space between the two text boxes on all of those where the text fits on a single line. Any good solutions?

Set the Can Grow property of the upper text box to Yes, and that of the section containing the text boxes to No.

I had tried that to no avail, unless there is something else I am missing or doing wrong. I am going to attach a copy if you have time to look at it. The report in question is "rptLabel"
The only record showing up currently is one of those in question that is too long. It should read "Finding God's Path Through Your Trials"

    Thanks again for your help.

Set the Can Grow property of the Title text box to yes

You originally stated that the text for the upper text box was too long, but the problem is with the lower text box (bound to Title). Hence Patt's suggestion.

Please try to describe the problem correctly in the future.

Thank you, Patt. Boy, am I embarrassed. I was troubleshooting this for someone else and got it into my head that it was the upper box that was the problem. Sorry to bother you with it, but thanks for setting me straight.

That's OK. Sorry if I came over a bit harsh.
