    Office 2007 Pro (Professional)

I own Office 2000 Professional. Can I install it on a new Vista Home Premium laptop?

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

Your question is a bit confusing - the subject says Office 2007 but the question mentions Office 2000. Both are supported on Windows Vista though - see Description of the versions of Office that are supported on Windows Vista on the Microsoft site, so you should be OK.

Please forgive the error on my post (my first time posting), the subject should have been Office 2000. Thank you for the link, it is very helpful.

    Hi WaddlzInMN,

Do note that Outlook 2000 is not supported on Vista.

See Description of the versions of Office that are supported on Windows Vista the link to which Hans posted also. According to the KB article:

    "INTRODUCTION
This article describes the versions of Microsoft Office that are supported on Windows Vista.

Microsoft Office 2000, Microsoft Office XP, Microsoft Office 2003, and the 2007 Microsoft Office suites are all supported on Windows Vista. The 2007 Office suites were extensively tested on Windows Vista for best compatibility.
    MORE INFORMATION
Because Office 2000 and Office XP are in Extended Support, there have been no fixes for issues that occur when these products are run on Windows Vista."

So, running Office 2000 is supported. However, if you have any problems don't expect help.
