    Redefine a Report (2003)

I'd like to modify the Rpt1 report in the attached mdb so that the values in each month's row are divided by the number of hours for that month, e.g. the values you see in the January row should be divided by 744, the values you see in the February row should be divided by 672(or 696 in case of a leap year), the values in March should be divided by 744, April values should be divided by 720 and so on...
    How can I achieve that?

See attached version. I created an extra query to calculate the number of days per month.

Following along the same line, is it possible, basing it on Query35 in the attached mdb, to prepare a query that should give me a ten-row, two-column output(please see attached xls), in which each row displays the average of the flow value for the decade going backward from the year displayed in the row?

Yes, using an extra query to return a list of years. See the attached version.

Note: aren't 1988 and 1992 leap years too? See Query35a for an alternative way to calculate the number of days per year.

    Thank you Hans <img src=/S/bravo.gif border=0 alt=bravo width=16 height=30>, you're amazing <img src=/S/artist.gif border=0 alt=artist width=34 height=29>, I couldn't possibly have pulled that off without your input, my thinking isn't as lateral as yours <img src=/S/brickwall.gif border=0 alt=brickwall width=25 height=15>
