    Is your workbook read-only?

The workbook is in Excel 97-2000 & 5.0/95 format, and this causes problems. Do the following:
    - Open the workbook.
    - Select File | Save As...
    - Select "Microsoft Excel Workbook (*.xls)" in the "Save As" dropdown list (it's the first item).
    - Specify a different name for the workbook, for example FOLDER_DIR2.xls.
    - Click Save.
