    Style Area Width (2003/SP2)

    Hi there,

I thought this setting would either be held in the "settings" value of the data registry key or within normal.dot, however, having tested, it seems I'm wrong. Can anybody enlighten me pls?

    Thanks in advance,

    Violet

    Re: Style Area Width (2003/SP2)

The default width of the Style area is most probably stored, like so many other Word settings, in the Settings value in HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0WordDa ta. This is a binary value that is not easily read or set.
It is also stored in each document.
