    USPS Barcode (2007)

As some of you have discovered, Word 2007 no longer support printing POSTNET barcode on envelopes or labels.

Has anybody found software (e.g. ActiveX Control) that can restore this capability?

    Thanks,

    Arthur

    Re: USPS Barcode (2007)

The barcode generated by Word is no longer accepted by the USPS to get a discount on bulk mail, so Word 2007 doesn't offer it as a standard option. However, the barcode field is still available. MVP Graham Mayor has a free envelope template on his website that includes barcode - see Downloadable files.

More info: Why can't I include a POSTNET bar code or FIM-A code on envelopes or labels?

Here's a third party control for inserting barcodes: ActiveBarcode. It's expensive, though.
