    Page numbers (2003 or 2007)

Is there a way of numbering a spreadsheet from a number above 1?
I want to print a 40 page spreadsheet starting the numbering at 22 and running through to 61.
I have both Excel 2003 and 2007 so a positive response to my query on either will be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Tigers

This method works in 2000, so I think it should work in newer versions as well. You can merely enter the page increment you need in the custom footer

    In 2000 the method is:

    File/Page setup
    Header/Footer tab
    Custom footer
enter &[Page]+21 in the location you want your footer to appear or click the Page Number button and add "+21" after the &[page]

FYI, the method also works in XL97.

It is very similar in 2007. To get to the "Page Setup" dialog go to the "Page Layout" ribbon, then click on "Print Titles" in the "Page Setup" section, or click on the small icon at the bottom of the ribbon to the right of where it says "Page Setup"

    To mbarron, sdckapr, and TonyE,

Thanks very much, just what I needed.
