    Fill In blanks (Excel 2002)

    Hi and thx. Any way to fill in blanks with the cell above ? If I have a column of 1500 cells and some are blank, how best to fill in those cells with the cell above ? Thx.

    Select the column.
    Select Edit | Go To...
    Click Special...
    Select the Blanks option, then click OK.
    Type =, then click on the cell above the active cell (if A5 was the topmost blank cell, the formula would be =A4).
    Press Ctrl+Enter to fill all cells.

    If you want to replace the formulas with their values:
    - Select Edit | Copy.
    - Select Edit | Paste Special...
    - Select the Values option and click OK.
