Occurrence Counting (A2K)

I’ve cruised the Forum first trying to find an occurrence of what I’m attempting and can’t seem to find it.

The goal is to count the number of occurrences of a number in Group Header 2. The report layout looks like this:

GroupHeader1
ProductNo

GroupHeader2
CNo

Detail
CNo Detail
CNo Detail
CNo Detail

GroupFooter2
Blank

GroupFooter1
This is where I want to count the number of CNo’s that appear in GroupHeader2 for each ProductNo in GroupHeader1

As always, I’ve tried a number of unsuccessful variations using the =Count([ ?? ]) combination in GroupFooter1, but the number always includes the number of lines in the Detail Section as well as the GroupHeader2 Section.

Would appreciate any help on this,

Put a text box in GroupFooter2 with the following properties:
Visible: No
Control Source: =1
Running Sum: Over Groups
Name: txtRunCount
This text box is hidden, you can make it really small if you like.

Put a text box in GroupFooter1 with the following properties:
Control Source: =[txtRunCount]

This text box will display the count you want.
