    Option/Radio Button (2003)

I'm just playing about with the option/radio buttons in Excel to see how I can use them. I've found that there are 2 different types of button, those produced via the Forms toolbar and those produced via the Control Toolbox. The control toolbox option buttons have a number of properties attached to them, whilst the forms toolbar option buttons have very limited options.

    Could someone clarify the following:

With the forms verison of option buttons:
Is it correct that ALL of the options buttons are in a single group?
Is there a method of splitting them into multiple groups?
Isthe linked cell property the same for all option buttons?

With the Control Tooolbox version of option buttons:
Is there a linked cell property which will work in the same way as the other button type (all sharing one linked cell) or does each choice have to refer to an individual cell?
Can I refer to the value of the option button from a formula eg. =if(optionbutton1,"This is true","This is false) ?
How can I refer to a specific option button within VBA?

    Thanks in advance

    No they can be split

Add a "group box" around the ones you want in a particular group

Yes. it gives the number of the one chose

The each are individually linked giving a True/false

Can I refer to the value of the option button from a formula eg. =if(optionbutton1,"This is true","This is false) ?
It is done by referencing the linked cell for the optionbutton

How can I refer to a specific option button within VBA?
You can refer to the object in reference to the sheet:
    Worksheets("Sheet1").OptionButton1.Value

    They are also shape objects.
