    Task Bar

I know there is a tabbed box you can access from the run command to turn off/on programs that will run in the taskbar but I cannot remember the command <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15> for the life of me <img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>. Any help is appreciated <img src=/S/exclamation.gif border=0 alt=exclamation width=15 height=15>

    You want the 'msconfig' program.

..and it's one of those useful little extras they decided to omit from Win2k. I wonder who makes these decisions?

You may also have found that MSCONFIG also lists 'invisible' apps that run on start-up, and which can be, temporarily or otherwise, disabled. Useful for turning them on and off one by one for diagnostic purposes.
