    Visible / Invisible Box (Access 2000)

    I have a continuous form where I have a red box in the background that should be invisible for "active" items, but that should be displayed for inactive items. An item becomes inactive when the "Done" checkbox is checked. Here is the code:

    Private Sub Form_Load()
    If Me.Done.Value = True Then
    Me.Box112.Visible = True
    Else
    Me.Box112.Visible = False
    End If
    End Sub

    Unfortunately, if there is even one record in the continuous form that has "Done" checked, then all records display the red box (Box112). Is there some way I can make the box only appear when the box is checked on that record?

    Thanks,

    JoeK

    A continuous form has only one set of controls, so if you change the visibility of a control, this will affect all displayed records.
    You can use conditional formatting to change the color of a control depending on a value from the record source.
    The database attached to <post:=382,292>post 382,292</post:> demonstrates some other ways to highlight records in a continuous form.

    Using conditional formatting expressions helped me out. Thanks.
