Last Report is not finding it's right place (Access2000-03)

    Hi!
I had almost finished second Report with subs and all.
And of course ran into issue.
I have Main and 2 sub reports.
Second sub is the summary of the 2 and suppose to be printed at the last page unbound (or bound).

I have Page Header that has Report Name and PersonalID.
Than I have JobID section Header where all the info is. main and Sub#1.
I have JibID Footer where Total is.
I had placed Summary Report into Report Footer.

It appearing on a middle of the last PersonalID.
So all 120 pages looks fine and last PersonalID is split by Summary page...

    Please, help.
    Thanks

P.S. I am moving this Summary for about an hour...or more.

Try setting the Force New Page property of the Report Footer section to Before Section.

Click on the gray bar of the Report Footer section of the main report.
Then activate the Properties window (select View | Properties or click the Properties button on the toolbar)
The Force New Page is the first property in the Format tab.

Sending a screen print of design mode of the Report? Thanks

Edited by HansV to replace Word doc in zip file with the picture from the Word doc.

In your screenshot, you haven't selected the grey bar of the report footer of the main report, but the report header of the subreport.

Re: Last Report is not finding it's right place (Access2000-03)

I had just accidentally clicked on it while...clicking.
I am trying to re-set SUB Report somehow but it gives me exactly the same result!
Budging into last record cutting Name Header from ID Header...
Happens, no? :-) It is gonna be resolved sooner or later. Something stupid I bet!
    Thanks for trying with me.

    Demo for easier understanding.

    Main Report:

    Person's Name and ID
    Business Location_____________________
    Job Title_____________________________

    Person's Name and ID
    Business Location_____________________
    Job Title_____________________________

    Person's Name and ID
    Business Location_____________________
    Job Title_____________________________

Here on the last page SUB Report Summary suppose to just show itself.

    Instead what is happening:

    Person's Name and ID
    Business Location_____________________
    Job Title_____________________________

    Person's Name and ID
    Business Location_____________________
    Job Title_____________________________

    Person's Name and ID

    SUB Report showing itself

    Business Location_____________________
    Job Title_____________________________

It happening for the LAST Record ONLY!

The problem is clear. But I don't know how to solve this without seeing a copy of the database, and you indicated in an earlier thread that you're not allowed to attach one. Sorry.

    I want to try something.
How do I make this procedure: Do not Print Report Header Info on the last page only?
    Thanks

Do you mean the report header of the subreport?

Re: Last Report is not finding it's right place (Access2000-03)

OK here is what I need now.
Information in Page Header should NOT be printed when Report Footer is Printed. (All about Main Report).

I want Report Name/Date Printed to be printed on EVERY page BUT the last one. Can I? Thanks

Open the report in design view.
Activate the Format tab of the Properties window.
Make sure that the title bar of the window says Report.
If you have accidentally clicked somewhere in the report, select Report from the Object dropdown near the top of the Properties window.
Click in the Page Header property and select Not with report footer.
