    Security levels (Access 2007)

Is it possible to control user access either by type (e.g., a certain user can access forms and reports but not queries and tables) or by individual object (e.g., a certain user can access these forms but not that one; e.g., by applying a password)?

    Re: Security levels (Access 2007)

Versions of Access before 2007 had a feature that does exactly what you want: user-level security. See WendellB's tutorial The Secrets of Security.
This feature is still available in Access 2007, but only for databases in Access 2000 or Access 2002/2003 format (.mdb), not for the new Access 2007 format (.accdb), see Set or change Access 2003 user-level security in Access 2007.
