    Google Translator

Some people may not have come across the Google Translator, which will translate text or web pages to and from English and a number of other languages. Sadly no Latin (nor, for that matter, American!)...

Thanks for that John. I'll muddle along without any "American" translation support. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

    I'll just muddle along with BabelFish. None of 'em has Turkish... <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>

Here are two sites that provide free translations to/from Turkish. No idea how good they are: InterTran and TranslationBooth

    Re: Google Translator

Thanks for that, Hans. I was really just needling John a little. My few remaining contacts in Turkey speak English as well as I do, so I seldom have to write to them in Turkish. Whenever I DO need something in their tongue, I have a good friend (retired) at IBM who is a native Turk who helps me when I need. My Turkish Army friends are as old as I am and mostly retired.
