    Safe Sender List (2003 SR2)

Where does Outlook keep its Safe and Block sender lists? They don't appear to be in the outlook.pst file (local, not exchange). Are they in Doc & settings (WinXP)? I copied the pst file to my new PC (Vista) and mail is fine but lists are not there.
Should I use the Transfer settings Wizard?

They are stored in the registry. See Anybody have sample code of how to access the blocked Senders list in outlook 2003? - MSDN Forums for the keys to check. You could export the key and then merge on the Vista PC. Using the Transfer settings wizard may be more thorough in what gets moved from the old to new PC.

They are stored in a hidden message in your inbox (and in the registry too, but Outlook uses the hidden message). So if you transfer your .pst file, you transfer the Safe and Blocked Senders lists too.

Re: Safe Sender List (2003 SR2)

I thought so, but I have been getting a lot of mail that asked if I wanted to download pictures (airlines, etc.) from senders who were supposed to be on my safe sender list. It may be because each new promotional msg has a slightly different address.
Any way, thanks for the info.
