    Re: rename function (Access 2000)

    Hi,
Functions are not the same as stored procedures and I don't think you can use Rename to change the name of a function in this way. The syntax would be
DoCmd.Rename "newname", acobjecttype, "oldname" for renaming queries, tables, reports etc.
    Hope that helps.

To rename a function, all you have to do is open the module (or form or report module) that contains the function and change its name there. Then, of course, you have do find and replace every instance of the old name with the new name throughout the database.

What exactly is it that you're trying to accomplish?
