    Images not showing (2003 SP2)

    Hi
Just of late whenever I get an email with an image, the image doesn't show up and instead I get a small square which has what looks like a white page in it and over the top a red circle with a line through it.

I haven't changed anything in Outlook that I remember since this has started.

    Can anyone give any suggestions

    Thanks
    Dax

Inline pictures are blocked by default; if you turned that off, a recent update may have turned it on again. See Turn off blocking automatic picture downloads (click Show All to see all text).

    Hi Hans
Thanks for the reply, had already checked that setting but checked again anyway but is still turned off.

    Any other ideas?

    Cheers
    Dax

    Hi Hans

Thanks again, I checked out the link you sent me and unfortunately still not working.

In the link it mentioned to delete the following:
Cocuments and SettingsDaxLocal SettingsTemporary internet filesolk
The folder will start with OLK and have some other numbers/characters.
But I don't have such a folder, so am not sure what to do next

    Cheers
    Dax

The Outlook secure temporary folder is normally not visible in Windows Explorer.
The article explains how you can find the path of the folder. You can also find it in the registry, in the value OutlookSecureTempFolder in the key HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0Outloo kSecurity.
Enter the full path in the address bar of Windows Explorer, e.g.

Cocuments and Settings<yourusername>Local SettingsTemporary Internet FilesOLK16

    and press Enter.
