On Got Focus or Enter (2003)

For a textbox, when would I use On Got Focus as opposed to On Enter? How do I distinguish between them?

    Thanks, Andy.

Re: On Got Focus or Enter (2003)

The help subjects for the On Enter event and for the On Got Focus event explain the difference:

The On Got Focus event occurs when the user enters a control by clicking or tabbing, and also if the user activates another window, then activates the form again.

The On Enter event occurs when the user enters a controlby clicking or tabbing, but not if the user activates another window, then activates the form again.

The help subjects also explain what happens if you move the focus from a main form to a control on a subform.

Thank you. I did try the help system but it didn't explain this in any detail.
