    Page loading problem

I'm fiddling with a javascript mouseover dodad from DHTML JavaScript Tooltips. It effectively pops up a tooltip on a mouseover and seems to work OK. I like the option to define the tooltip text outside of the mouseover code (as shown with Tip1 in the attachment) but when the page loads it does so initially with white area at the top, corresponding to where I've coded Tip1. Once the page renders fully, it aligns correctly.

Placing it outside the <body> tags doesn't work. Any suggestions of how to eliminate the "clunky" loading?

PS May need to d/l the attachment and open it as a text file. My IE is (successfully <img src=/S/sad.gif border=0 alt=sad width=15 height=15>) trying to render it!

The css rule <code>visibility:hidden</code> does not remove the space occupied by the element, it simply blanks its contents. Perhaps it would be better to start with the rule <code>display:none</code>?

Thanks Jefferson. That did the trick. I've learned what CSS stands for; now I just have to learn what's in it! <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
