    Re: Embed Word in Excel (2003)

    You can copy part or all of a document in Word, and use Edit | Paste Special in Excel to paste as a Microsoft Word object.
    You'll see only (part of) the first page, but you can double click on the object to edit it in Word. You can also click the Paste Link option in the Paste Special dialog. Changes in the original Word document will be reflected in the Word object on your Excel sheet.

    Embed Word in Excel (2003)

    Is there a good way to imbed a Word document into an Excel worksheet? Any recommendations such that it will retain it's Word characteristics?

    Insert - Object
    Create from File (tab)
    <Browse>
    Select the desired file
    <OK>

    It will not only "retain it's Word characteristics" but if dbl-clicked will open to allow editing in WORD.
