Report hiding lines (Access 2003/SP3)

I have a narrative style report with text boxes. The problem (which I haven't seen before) is that occasionally, text will be overwritten by the page footers.
Because this is a long narrative report the problem has occurred in different locations in the report. So it isn't triggered by a specific text/combo box.
When I say overwritten, I mean that the text appears to go "under" the footer and disappears completely. Sometimes a couple of lines will vanish (about the depth of the footer). Sometimes lines will actually be cut in half as the tops of letters appear before the footer begins.

    Has anyone seen this before?

My first guess would be a problem with the printer driver (the layout of reports is heavily influenced by the printer). Have you tried setting a different printer in the Page tab of File | Page Setup...?

No this appears to happen regardless of the printer selected.

I don't have a clue then. Try experimenting with the Keep Together property of the detail section (and of group headers/footers, if appropriate).

That doesn't seem likely, but you could try changing the bottom margin, for example, to see if it makes a difference.

There are no group headers/footers in this report.
I'm wondering about a conflict between headers/footers and margins?

    Snort!
It fixes it kinda for this report - I can still see on one page the tops of the letters from a clipped line. However, now the line repeats itself on the next page.

(Edited by WebGenii on 31-Oct-07 15:53. It didn't solve anything)
I tried changing the Grp Keep Together property for the report to per Page. We'll see if that solves anything.
