    PhotoWipe

Haven't tried this yet, but this one looks quite amazing IMO:

"PhotoWipe is a revolutionary imaging tool that magically removes unwanted objects from your photos. Just paint over them in black, and click go! Uncovers hidden details. Sit back and watch as cage bars disappear from the zoo, and your old boyfriend or girlfriend fades away. And best of all, it's completely <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15>! "

And in a similar vein: Photo tool could fix bad images:

"Digital photographers could soon be able to erase unwanted elements in photos by using tools that scan for similar images in online libraries."

Thanks Alan. This is probably a "keeper." I hope someone else will dabble a bit and let us know how they feel. Sorry for what I know is egotistical looking, but I really was messing with potential userpics while Claude was working on that code in The Lounge. So I happened to have dug out this old and VERY damaged photo which was stuck to a plastic sheet in an album, so it's physically damaged. I only made three black swipes on it, two of which were on the jacket's collar. Keeping in mind that I'm a rank amateur in this area, it's not too difficult a program to play with. Other opinions?
