    Small caps (Word 2003)

    Hello all,

I am using a template that has a numbering scheme associated with each heading level. For Heading 1, I have "Section 1, Section 2, etc."; for Heading 2, I have "A, B, etc."

Does anyone know how to set up the numbering scheme so that "Section" appears in small caps? When I go into the Customize Outline Numbered List dialogue box and select "font," only "all caps" is enabled ("small caps" is greyed out).

    Thanks in advance!

As far as I know that isn't possible.

However, you could set the Section part to use All Caps and a smaller point size than the Heading 1 style. With the default formatting for Heading 1 (16 point Arial), 11 or 12 points provide a reasonable match, although the A will be the same size as the rest, unlike with Small Caps.
