    App icons (2007)

I just did a fresh install of Office 2007 for my new computer. However, I did not get the individual Office app icons in the Program menu. Any idea on how I can get them listed?

Are you sure it hasn't added a submenu named Microsoft Office to Start | All Programs?

If you really don't have the shortcuts, open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice12.
Drag each of the applications you want a shortcut for to the Start button.
Wait until the Start menu appears.
Drag to All Programs and drop there.
    The "standard" Office apps are:
    Winword.exe
    Excel.exe
    Outlook.exe
    PowerPnt.exe
    MSAccess.exe

In Office 2007 they are added to the Start menu under "All Programs, Microsoft Office".

They (Microsoft) decided NOT to place then at the "Root" of the menu with Office 2007 like they have with the older versions of Office.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Right-click Start button in the lower left corner of your screen and from pop-up menu select "Explore" or "Explore All Users". Depending how Office was installed, you will see "Microsoft Office" folder when you double-click "Programs" folder on the right pane of "All Users" or your account. Just move or, better, copy shortcuts (icons) from "Microsoft Office" to "Programs".

Yeah obvious. I wasn't thinking clearly.
