    ComboBoxes Missing on emailed workbooks (2003 SP2)

    Good evening

    I am in the habit of emailing myself workbooks from the office to work on at home when she who must be obeyed goes to bed, over the last week and on several occassions I am getting a Data Error warning and the comboboxes are not in the workbooks, this now happens on anything that I email myself or indeed copy to a memory stick. I have checked all of my options and every thing seems to remain the same as normal and any new workbooks that I create with combos work ok, i have emailed this to my office to confirm that they are ok on receipt and they are.

    I am somewhat puzzled, can anybody shed a light on this?

    Do you have different versions of Excel at work and at home?

    Hi Hans

    Yes I do, at the office I have 2003 and at home 2000 but rarely notice much difference, plus the fact the combo behaviour has only been happening for about 2 weeks, I thought at first it may have been the installlation of SP2 on the work machine but that does not corrospond with the timing of the problem.

    Did the combo boxes function OK at home and at work before that time?

    Yes Hans, both worked finebefore, I have gone down JKP's route of systematic checking but to no avail, I think I may have to do a reinstall as all of a sudden I have workbooks bloating to 100 times+ their original size and I have deleted all unwanted formatting, columns and rows and all of the advice given in any posts using the word 'bloat' but nothing seems to make a difference.
