Unique Mailing Labels (2002, SP 3)

I have a query that pulls student names and addresses for mailing labels. In order to eliminate duplicate labels for the same family, I set the unique values property to yes. This is not doing what I need because different students are the same address. I would really like to have a label print for the first student at a given address and not for each student. What would be the correct way to accomplish this.

As the recordsource for your report, you need a Totals query. You would Group By the Address fields, but select First for the Name fields.

Sometimes the simplest solution just doesn't enter your head. This works perfectly.
