I am running Exchange 2000 with Outlook 2000 and am not sure where my problem is. I have a mailbox that I need to create an auto responder. The rule wizard allows me to create a rule with a template but the template is automatically stored on my local drive. This a mailbox that probably won't be open very often and the local machine could be turned off. I cannot figure out how to publish an organizational template on Exchange. A public form cannot be used in the rules wizard.

Any thoughts on how I can get this working is greatly appreciated.

publish it to the inbox - as long as it's an exchange mailbox and not a pst, you'll be ok. also, make sure it's a server side rule, not client sie or it won't work unless outlook is opened.

How do I do that? When I choose the file | save as option, I don't have the option to save the message to my mailbox at all, only to an outside directory.

    Thanks.
