    Pass Fail (Excel 2003)

hi again in cell Q12 i am trying to determin the pass fail result of R12 this is based on the 40% in cell I7 and the 4 number of questions answered in cell P12, again i have attempted to achieve this, to little effect, i even tried copying the function in cell E12 and replacing the ranges etc but nothing works.

sorry for all the bother im giving you.

    Re: Pass Fail (Excel 2003)

You need to "lock" I7 so when you copy, it does not change. Also you did not include the requirement for at least 4...

    =IF(OR(R12<$I$7,P12<$I$6),"Fail","Pass")
