User Identities (XP SP 2)

Hi everyone! I have mentioned this problem combined with the problem I had setting up the fax console. I was trying to ignore this problem but by using Karen's Directory Printer as suggested I have more of a clue as to what the problem could be with the duplicate file situation. Background: The owner of the computer is "C SHIREY." Under user accounts, there is CITSME with administrator privileges and GUEST ACCOUNT which is off. If I remember correctly, I couldn't use my C SHIREY account on a daily basis because it was the main administrator account and we've all been told not to use that account; especially on the internet. When I searched MY MUSIC, I found all my music was in Doc & Settings etc. C SHIREY. Yet, in MY COMPUTER there is a CITSME'S DOCUMENTS and when I click on it, it takes me to C SHIREY'S DOCUMENTS. C SHIREY isn't even a user in the user accounts and there is still an account that comes up under Documents and Settings that is called ADMINISTRATOR. What have I done? I used to be able to handle the basic stuff pretty well but lately, like for so many of us, life is overwhelming and I can't get my mind around this one. In the end, I think I should have an administrator account that is not used, a daily account with administrative privileges (not necessarily all but most) and a guest account that is always turned off. Am I correct? Any and all help is always appreciated. I have really been helped by you all so much lately and I'd like to thank you for your time and most of all PATIENCE!!!

or C SHIREY or CITSME or ADMINISTRATOR or

Re: User Identities (XP SP 2)

Before we begin - do you have XP Home or XP Professional?

It is important because Home edition has limited account management options.
