Label lines disappeared (Office 2000)

Does anyone have a clue how the label outlines disappear and how to get them back? We were trying to create some labels and clicked Tools, Envelopes and Labels, New Document. When the document appeared, the ruler showed the margins for each label, but the lines weren't there.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Labels are tables in Word. The outlines you are talking about are called gridlines in Wordeze.

If you don't have the command to display/hide gridlines on your table menu (I think I added it to mine), try displaying the tables and borders toolbar which should have a button for this (which you may want to copy to your Table menu.)

See Tables in Microsoft Word for more on table formatting / use.
