    Taskbar and System Tray Utilities

    A couple of small <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15>ware apps I ran across. Both seem to work as advertised on my XP Pro:

    Taskix - reorder buttons in your Windows taskbar
    -> in-place drag-and-drop
    -> works also inside stacked groups

    Taskbar shuffle - No hotkeys, no extra steps, just rearrange the buttons on your Windows taskbar by dragging and dropping them. Allows you to rearrange your system tray icons by dragging and dropping as well (but that does require a hotkey). No need to get all nervous when an application crashes or if you need to reboot; you can reorder your programs exactly as they were anytime by just dragging and dropping them directly within your Windows taskbar!

    Based on the fact that it includes the tray, I've downloaded the Taskbar Shuffle one and plan to give it a try. Strangely enough (or maybe not, considering it's YOU!) I've been using TaskArrange ever since early 2006 when you recommended it in <post:=551,545>post 551,545</post:> and now couldn't do without it.

    I remembered finding one some time ago. Wasn't sure if it was the same one or not. Glad you still like it Al.
