I would like to remove the list of folders which OL remembers I have previously moved mail items to - it is very large and out of date. Can I reset it to empty and have it start again remembering folders from scratch? Thanks Frank

See Clearing Outlook's Most Recently Used (MRU) lists. Since the registry key value in binary you probably can't do much more than delete the value and let Outlook recreate when it is started again. Alternately, you could try OutlookTools | HowTo-Outlook. I've not used this but it looks like an easy way to clear the list with using the registry editor.

Mine only holds 10 folders, but guess whether that is large is relative to screen display. I wouldn't mind 20 on there as they seem to cycle through quite quickly...
Thank you, this worked perfectly. I have reorganised all my filing folder, so the existing set of remembers was out of date. Now I am starting with a fresh list.
Great!! Glad you got it worked out. Thanks for posting back.
