    MDE file (Access 2000)

    When i want to make an mde db, i click on tools,database utilities and choose make an mde file.Is it possible to do it by code ?

    It's possible, although I can't imagine why you want to.
    Use the VBA code:
    <pre>Application.NewCurrentDatabase</pre>


    I'm not sure, but it might also be possible to do it using a macro, RunApp and some command line parameters.

    NewCurrentDatabase creates a blank new database; you have to specify the path and filename of the new database. It doesn't create an .MDE database.
