Custom Animations - slide is presented second time

Is there any way to get my Custom Animations to work properly when a slide is presented a second time. I am creating an interactive tutorial and can't get the animations to work the way they do the first time if the user goes back to the same slide more than once.

    There are two main ways
    1. Place a blank slide before the animated slide and give it an auto transition of zero seconds and then link to this slide
    2. make a custom show and link to it

For (2) see here http://www.pptalchemy.co.uk/powerpoint_hin..._tutorials.html and scroll down to Custom Shows

The first method worked like a charm.

    Thank you very much

That's good. There are times when you need the custom animation method too so it's worth learning. eg if you link to say an animated "Your Right " slide from several different loactions and then want to return to the slide that you came from using a "last slide viewed" button. With method 1 "last slide viewed" will send you to the blank slide again!
