System Tray Icon (XP Pro)

For some reason, a system tray icon for one of my favorite programs (Wallmaster) has disappeared. I start the program again and it says it is already running. The icon appears for a second then is gone. Tropicalwares has not gotten back to me on this, so I thought I'd ask the Forum how I might go about investigating. TYIA.

Try this:
- Right-click an empty part of the Windows taskbar.
- Select Properties from the popup menu.
- Click the Customize... button in the Notification area section.
- Locate and select Wallmaster in the list of items.
- Select Always Show from the dropdown list.
- OK your way out.

The icon was set to Always show..and it wasn't. I ended the program in Task manager, restarted it from its desktop shortuct, and got an "Access violation at address...in Wallmaster.exe" at which time the icon reappeard in the tray! I thought an icon might be missing from the program folder, but evidently not, since, even though I did not see an "ico" file, the icon is back on the tray. Thanks for your assistance. I'll remember that cusomize function!
