Tell us MORE about this network and the different machines connected to it?
    Include ALL firewall information.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

    Re: Join a network

Check the Zone Alarm logs on each machine. They should show the blocked IP addresses of your machines as you tried to connect to each other. If you're not sure which each IP address refers to; right click on the wireless connection icon in the notification area of the taskbar and check the status of each, the IP address should be shown.

When you've identified all the IP addresses of the computers on your network, right click on them in the Zone Alarm Log and add them to the Trusted Zone.

    Re: Join a network

It was my intention to start a new thread but the post above answered my question perfectly! After installing an upgrade to Zone Alarm I could no longer see the main pc or the printer from my laptop. So I have just added the laptop to the trusted zone on the pc as advised. Now I can see all the shared documents again, I can print from the laptop again and Planet Rock are playing Led Zep doing a live version of Heartbreaker. Could life be any better?

    Thanks

    Regards

    Graeme
