    Names (2000 SR1)

How do I get my names in the lookup box to be ordered last name, first name?

Are there any other sites out there that offer guidance on the use of outlook?

    Thanks,

    Simon

Have you looked at the settings under Tools | Options | Contact Options button? This will take effect for future entries.

When sending new mail the "to..." box opens a list of names to select from. These names are in First Name, Last Name order. I would like to order them in Last Name, first name.

    Thanks,

    Simon

Open the address book, View, Sort By, and pick your choices.

    Simon,

Just have a look at Tools, Services
Klik the addresslist and press [Properties]

Here you could select the way addresses are shown in the list

that's because you aren't using the corp mode - you have internet mail only mode.

i'm not sure - i only use corp mode. <img src=/S/sad.gif border=0 alt=sad width=15 height=15> look in tools > options of the opened address book dialog like one of the guys suggested.

Simon - let me try again. Open Outlook, go to menu bar Tools, Address Book, View (under Address Book), Sort By, and you have the choices there.
