    select and mail (2000)

Hello, I have a row that containts a number of unique data details for a given client, the rows are replicated for an unlimited number of other clients. I am looking to develop some level of automation where by I can click a button to do some kind of mailing for each client but the client I do the mailing for is driven by user slecetion of the row within excel that that particularr client detail is on. I.eI select row 2, maybe typed inton a msgbox and click, then that detail from row two is then lifted to an email, either direct to the mail or through a word document attached to the e mail. Guidance on the type opf coding I need consider would be gretaly appreciated.

    Many thanks Darren.

It depends on what exactly you need. If you want to create a short message, you can use ActiveWorkbook.FollowHyperlink with a string that begins with "mailto:". This won't work with long or complicated messages, you'd need to automate an e-mail program such as Outlook for that, or Word if you prefer to send a document.
