    Pivot Table (2003)

I have financial data in a pivot table. Obviously, the pivot table is pulling from a detail sheet. Anyway, the financial data in both the pivot and detail sheets is formatted to show comma's to separate by thousands. When I double click on the dollars in the table it pulls up a sheet that "drills" into the numbers clicked on. Is it possible to have the new sheet display the dollars, with commas separating thousands, automatically without having to go in and format that column?

Not as far as I know. Excel appears to apply General format to such numbers.
