    Stacked chart goal (XP/2003)

I am creating a stacked bar chart to resemble a large red thermometer. I want the chart to represent
monthly unit sales accumulation to reach our target. I changed all the bars to be red without any borders
and have added a red ball at the bottom to represent the thermometer bulb. I placed temporary data in the
sales column, changed to red, then entered zero until actual data could be entered.
I would like to show a line on the chart representing the target amount (i.e. 1400 unit is the target).
Each month the chart would be updated adding to the "red line" towards the goal.
Anyone have any ideas of how to add the "Goal" line and any other suggestions to make it
more thermometer appearing would be appreciated.

See attached sample - I used an extra series and made it a line chart, with a secondary category axis.

I also included a chart showing sales as a percentage of the goal, i.e. the goal is 100% and is the top of the chart.

I didn't bother with making the charts look like real thermometers.

That works for me and also solves a minor problem with the stacked chart.
There were two narrow gaps between months accumulated totals which does
not appear on the chart you suggested.
Will review my secondary category axis since it has been a long time.

Thank you for you speedy response.
