    control down arrow (2003)

I have just installed Office 2003 on a new computer running Windows XP Professional. Control-arrow keys in previous versions of Excel resulted in the cursor moving from its current location to the last (left, right, up, down) non-empty cell. My new version results in page-down, page-right, etc. How do I change Excel's behavior back to the good old days?

Make sure that ScrollLock is off.

Thank you! Turning off scroll lock fixed the up and down arrow behavior; however, ctrl-left arrow and ctrl-right arrow still act like page-left and page-right. Any ideas?

I'd check very carefully if this affects all workbooks or just the one you tried it in - Ctrl+arrow should work the same in Excel 2003 as in all previous versions.

Actually just another stupidity.: Tools | Options | Transition Tab, I had left Transition Navigation Keys checked from one of the explorations. It should be unchecked and the Scroll Lock off and all is right with the world. Thanks!

Ah good - I tend to forget about the Transition settings.
